Return of the Mobile Phone

Well. That lasted nearly ten days.

After boldly declaring an intention to no longer carry a phone my family was faced with a brief but intense trial. Everything is fine, but my wife and daughter needed to be able to get ahold of me, and it was more difficult than it should have been.

When I think objectively of common situations that I am in as a parent, I realize that having a phone on my person is really the only option.

Still, at the risk of sounding hypocritical, I think you should consider unplugging if you possibly can.
