technology sucks

I’ve had a minidisc walkman for a year now, and it’s ruining me for music. have you been paying attention to my top 5? i go through songs so fast. sometimes i’ll be listening to a song i like, and i’ll leave it in search of something better. i miss my walkman. with tapes you couldn’t skip so arbitrarily, and songs were given a chance. the science of creating a mixed tape was so much more involved than mixes now. real time recording made you think and arrange. i say, run out and buy a tape deck while you still can. they won’t be on shelves much longer.viva la analog.
