Song of Time

An old friend started a facebook group called Song of Time. The concept is that members submit a song that defines them as a person; then he makes a series of mixes and sends it out to the members. The mix will be a compilation of songs that have a deep connection with its listeners.

So the hard part: What song defines me as a person? I chose Menomena’s Muscle n Flow from the album friend and foe.

I offer this song with the caveat that it won’t always be my defining song. I wanted to pick a song that I loved as well. Menomena has been my favourite band of the year, so it feels right. It’s not my fav song by them, but it captures where I am today; getting older, working, living and loving.
