In Defense of Comic Sans

I don’t want to always get defensive of the underdog, but I gotta take a wee stand for Comic Sans.

I will readily admit it can be the worst font choice in most applications, but that’s not the font’s fault! It’s called Comic Sans for a reason! It was designed to be the text in comics. 

A comic. With sans serif font. Not ridiculous child font.

I will always join in laughing at posts like this Mashable post Well Known Logos Rendered in Comic Sans – but not because the font is at fault, but rather the designer.

While we’re at it, only use Papyrus as a font when it’s meant to be on that paper. I’m looking at you James Cameron.
