ye olde camera perished this weekend. it didn’t float. it was going to be four years old this summer. i never used the stupid thing, but i said to myself ‘i need more images for headers on my site, i’d better go picture-crazy this weekend’. i got made fun of a lot for that huge beast: ‘where do the D batteries go?’ ‘how many kilo-pixels does this have?’ ‘where do you load the gun powder’ etc.

i haven’t had the internet in my home for nearly 3 months now. due to xp problems, i was no longer able to create a new connection. after two weeks of being disconnected from the rest of the world i realized that i didn’t miss it. the internet doesn’t make my life better. why don’t i reconnect it? it’s probably the same reason why people go to the cottage for months in the summer.
